Analysis: The Cavaliers got back in the win column on Friday behind Mitchell's highest scoring performance of the season. The veteran combo guard got up over 30 shot attempts for the first time this season, which he converted efficiently en route to a near 50-point performance. He used the three-point shot to his advantage and, despite the high volume of shots, he made at least a little bit of impact as a facilitator along the way. Mitchell has been on a tear lately, scoring 40 or more points in three of his last seven games and nailing at least seven threes in each of said games. He will look to stay hot against the Hornets on Sunday.

Analysis: While he wasn't his usual efficient self from a shotmaking perspective, Mobley was quite impactful on the offensive end. He produced both inside and outside the arc en route to finishing with 20 or more points for the 12th time this season, and tied a team-high in assists, as well. Mobley didn't produce any counting stats on the defensive end, which is rare for him, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year. Nonetheless, he put forth some strong production from a fantasy standpoint and continues to put up solid numbers overall.

Analysis: Garland was as efficient as one could be inside the arc, shooting 6-of-6 on two-point shots, but his 0-of-11 shooting from deep left him completely unimpactful from behind the line. Yet, even with the shooting struggles, Garland was one of the Cavaliers' highest scorers on the evening and concluded with a share of the most assists. Surely, fantasy managers will want more production from Garland going forward, but they must remain patient in the early stages of the season as he continues to work his way back from offseason toe surgery.

Analysis: While Allen fully participated in Tuesday's practice, he still has not reached the point where he can play in games. Evan Mobley will continue to start at the center position, which raises his fantasy ceiling. Also, Jaylon Tyson is worth a look in deeper leagues since he has moved into the starting lineup.

Analysis: Allen has missed five straight and eight of Cleveland's last nine games, but his participation in practice suggests he's got a chance to take the court for Cleveland's next game. The Cavs don't play again until Friday, which gives Allen plenty of time to recover. If Allen is cleared to play, he could reclaim his starting spot from Jaylon Tyson. Sam Merrill (hand) hasn't played since November 17, and he did not participate in practice.

Analysis: The Cavaliers got off to an ice-cold start on the second night of a back-to-back, scoring a season-low 36 points in the first half. Mitchell came alive after the break, burying seven three-pointers and dropping 21 points in the second half as Cleveland roared back to make this one close. He had an opportunity to knock down a game-tying three-pointer in the final seconds but came up empty. The 29-year-old scoring machine is averaging 30.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.3 blocks over 23 games this season. The Cavaliers are off until Friday when they face the floundering Wizards before closing out a two-game week with a home matchup against the Hornets.

Analysis: Ball had two points, six rebounds and five assists in 22 minutes off the bench against the Spurs on Friday. The 28-year-old point guard will sit out the second game of a back-to-back against the Warriors for injury management reasons. His absence impacts the Cavaliers rotation, but isn't significant for fantasy basketball.

Analysis: Merrill is set to miss his ninth consecutive game with a hand injury and has no timetable for return. Jaylon Tyson will continue to have a solid role with Merrill sidelined.

Analysis: Nae'Qwan Tomlin started this game with Darius Garland (toe) sidelined, and while he was able to contribute 13 points in 18 minutes, he wasn't as effective as Wade. Though he typically hasn't been a productive player in fantasy basketball, he was able to start the second half and turn in a strong stat line during his 29 minutes on the floor. Wade isn't worth rostering, but he played well in this game.

Analysis: Mitchell is enjoying the best offensive season of his career, which has gone under the radar due to the Cavaliers' struggles. He's averaging a career-best 30.6 points per game while also shooting over 50 percent from the floor for the first time in his career. “Only” scoring 28 points in this game actually dropped his average slightly. He'll keep pouring in the points to help the Cavs stay afloat until they get healthy.

Analysis: Mobley was a late addition to the injury report due to an illness, but it won't prevent him from suiting up against San Antonio. With Jarrett Allen (finger) sidelined, Mobley will continue to fill the center spot, which leaves him primed for a big night against Luke Kornet and the Spurs.

Analysis: Mobley popped up as questionable with an illness Friday afternoon ahead of the Cavaliers' matchup against the Spurs. The 24-year-old center's status for the game is certainly up in the air. With Jarrett Allen (finger) already ruled out, the Cavaliers could end up relying on Dean Wade and Nae'Qwan Tomlin in the frontcourt.

Analysis: Friday's game is the first of two in as many nights for the Cavaliers, who host the Warriors on Saturday. Garland's absence opens up a spot in the starting lineup, which Lonzo Ball could fill since he's available. He's worth streaming in deep leagues when given this role, but the fantasy ceiling is limited.

Analysis: With Jarrett Allen (finger) sidelined, there's more room for Mobley to operate on both ends of the floor. Despite the outcome of Wednesday's game, Mobley recorded the kind of stat line that fantasy managers hope to see consistently. His five blocked shots were a season-high, and the Cavaliers' forward/center has provided top-20 fantasy value over the past two weeks. Mobley will look to continue this run on Friday when the Spurs visit.

Analysis: Mitchell has scored at least 30 points in 13 games this season, including three of his last four. The Cavaliers guard once again did most of the heavy lifting offensively, as Darius Garland (6/3/4/0/1 with one three-pointer) shot 2-of-13 from the field. Mitchell had a tough night from deep, shooting 3-of-13 on three-pointers, but the two-point production salvaged the overall field-goal percentage. Cleveland hosts San Antonio on Friday.

Analysis: Ball is back after a two-game absence, and he'll provide additional depth on the perimeter behind starting Darius Garland. With Garland available, Ball is in a spot where he offers limited fantasy value.

Analysis: This will be an eighth straight absence for Merrill, and there hasn't been much clarity as to how much longer he'll be out. Jaylon Tyson will continue to play a large role, even if he is pushed to the bench with Darius Garland back. Craig Porter Jr. and Tyrese Proctor will also continue to see added minutes off the bench, though neither will play enough to be worth streaming.

Analysis: Ball has missed Cleveland's last two games, freeing up additional minutes for Craig Porter Jr. and Tyrese Proctor. However, they also benefitted from the absence of Darius Garland on Monday, so even fewer minutes will be available to Porter and Proctor if Ball plays.

Analysis: Garland did not play in Monday's win over the Pacers, which moved Dean Wade into the starting lineup. Wade should head back to the bench, with Jaylon Tyson continuing to start. The second-year wing has played well this season, most recently scoring 27 points on Monday.

Analysis: After a stellar individual performance in Sunday's loss to the Celtics, Mobley's production on Monday was modest by comparison. However, he recorded multiple blocked shots in a game for the 10th time this season, nearly a third of the way to his total for the 2024-25 season (34). With Jarrett Allen (finger) out for a few weeks, fantasy managers hope this is when Mobley will truly explode as a fantasy option.
